5 Spices To Detox Your Body At Home

In addition to providing flavor to our dishes and providing multiple benefits spices can also be very useful in purifying our body and remove toxins.

Elimination of toxins from our body is very important to keep our body healthy. This is because an excess of them makes you feel weaker and your quality of life is affected.

The body will try to eliminate toxins naturally, but it is important that you put it on your side. The first step you must take is to take enough water, as it acts as a purifier.

You should also improve your diet and eliminate foods that are too processed, high in salt or conservative. Finally, you can optimize your health by choosing natural ingredients.

One of these foods are spices, which, in addition to being mostly economic, provide a delicious taste to food.

If you are a lover of processed foods because you love strong flavors, with spices you can get the same without adding unnecessary substances.

Take note of the spices that help you eliminate toxins and detox your body at home:

1. Coriander

Coriander is a plant quite used in traditional food to provide a delicious taste. It has many great benefits for the body some of which are:

  • Coriander boosts the antioxidant function of the liver.
  • Eliminates toxins and foreign body compounds more quickly.
  • Help improve digestion and relieve discomfort from overeating meals
  • Protect the liver from exposure to heavy metals like lead.
  • Eliminates the mercury, lead, and aluminum that some foods contain.
  • The seed of coriander help lower blood cholesterol.

We recommend including a couple of coriander sprigs in your green smoothie or stews.

2. Turmeric

Turmeric helps to protect the liver from damage caused by free radicals, parasites, and toxins. Because the liver is a fundamental part of the body’s cleansing process, it is at great risk of getting sick so make sure you clean it constantly.

In addition to using it to enrich the flavor of your dishes, it is a good idea to make it part of your detoxification routine. The best thing about cardamom is that it eliminates harmful bacteria without destroying beneficial bacteria.

This is an excellent herb, as the vast majority of commercial drugs have the disadvantage that they destroy equally beneficial and harmful bacteria.

Some of the benefits of cardamom are:

  • Improves your appetite.
  • Prevents gastritis and controls it if it already exists
  • Improves heart health
  • Decreases liver fat

How to consume cardamom?

4. Cloves

5. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is obtained from the inner bark of genus Cinnamomum tree. Cinnamon is rich in Calcium and Iron as well as vitamins. Cinnamon is known for its properties as:

  • Assist in the control of high blood pressure
  • Oxidative stress reducer
  • Cellular Repair

For cinnamon to really help you eliminate toxins you need to consume it without sugar . The best option is a cup of cinnamon tea a day, unsweetened.
